Parents United is a place where parents and staff come together to find ways to help our school be more warm and inviting and to find fun ways to better our community.

HOW OFTEN DOES PARENTS UNITED MEET?

We meet once a month from 9:30am-11am.

DO I NEED TO ATTEND ALL MEETINGS TO PARTICIPATE?

We understand that it can be tough to commit to attend each month so come once or twice or every meeting we are just happy to have you with us!

WHAT IF NOT ALL MY KIDS ARE SCHOOL AGED YET,  CAN I BRING THEM WITH?

YES! We love for all our families to have the opportunity to participate so we provide childcare during the meeting.

82nd Avenue Rose Parade 2018

This weekend our wonderful parent group, Parents United (PUG), families and children marched in the 2018 82nd Avenue Rose Parade.  As they marched up 82nd Avenue they handed out 800 books to all of the children along the route.  The books were generously donated by the Children’s Book Bank, one of our partners in supporting literacy.  We are proud to say that the group won a ribbon for “BEST SCHOOL SPIRIT” in the parade!

Our Parents United Group is focusing on literacy for our children by increasing reading at home.  They also link the love of literacy to our monthly movie nights.  These are only a few examples of ways we partner together to support our children at Earl Boyles.  If you are interested in working with this wonderful group of families to partner with the school, please contact the Parents United Group.  You can reach them by calling the school at 503.256.6554 and asking to speak to the facilitator
